Follow PicklPass's evolution from a club screening tool to a full-featured league operations platform.
Product Evolution
PicklPass product development first began in Late Summer/Early Fall 2024, with users testing live products throughout the year. The platform officially launched on April 5, 2025 as a club management and DUPR screening tool. Over the following months, it expanded into session execution, scoring, and standings, then grew to support Ladder, Round Robin, Pod, MLP, Trios, and Mini-Tournament league formats. In 2026, the platform added public sharing, print tools, analytics dashboards, staff roles, billing infrastructure, Open Play, player score submission, and a free player portal with a "Plays At" multi-club profile, earned status tiers, and rich personal stats, QR-connected paper scoring, Round Robin divisions, and a self-serve claim flow tied to DUPR. Today, PicklPass is a complete league operations platform, for clubs and for the players who play at them.
Round Robin Divisions + Mini-Tournament v2
Round Robin Divisions
Split a Round Robin league into 2 to 6 divisions by rating, snake draft, or random draw, each with its own courts, standings, and playoffs. Staff get By Division views for standings, match entry, court assignments, and scoresheets; players see their own division in the portal.
Per-Division Playoffs and Champions
Every division runs its own bracket and crowns its own champion. Bracket edit mode lets you fix a pairing before play starts, wild-card slots are labeled, and playoff finishes roll into standings.
Mini-Tournament v2
Rebuilt pool play and playoffs with fixed-partner mode, partner pairing controls, and a shared-court scheduler that packs pairs onto courts, handles uneven pools, and checks partner court conflicts before you save.
Trios Consolation Brackets
Consolation brackets for 2 to 8 teams with correct placement labels, an Add Consolation Round Session action, and a Champions tab that covers every playoff session. All four tiebreakers, including head-to-head, are honored in Trios and MLP seeding.

- Ladder sessions seat from the last final round, hold courts instead of compacting, and honor spot-save holds, with movement badges and a legend
- Legacy leagues are editable again, scheduled days no longer drift, and roster edits keep earned positions
- Duplicate DUPR upload protection across all six export paths, real DUPR error text, and automatic token refresh
- Claim QR and per-player Claim link in Club Members; players claim by signing up and connecting DUPR, and rows show a Claimed badge
- Portrait or landscape scoresheet printing, scoresheet QR on/off switch, Standings tab restored in every operator workspace
- Connect-DUPR loop fixed for new accounts; desktop push enable no longer hangs
Registration, Payments, Subs & Sign-In
Self-Serve Registration and Payments
Publish registration for any league and let players sign up from their phone. Take payment through Stripe checkout on your own connected account, or collect at the door. Capacity, waitlists with one-click Promote, approval and rating gates, and full or partial refunds are all built in.
Substitutes
A sub board for every league. Players tap Can't make it, the spot opens to your sub list, and a claim holds the seat for ten minutes while payment clears when the league charges subs. MLP and Trios get team-level coverage requests so a missing teammate never sinks the match.
Sign In Your Way, Stay in the Loop
Google and Apple sign-in with account linking, magic links, and phone verification. Web push notifications on iOS and Android with per-category controls for reminders, scores, subs, and club news.
Status Points and Retention Insights
Players now earn Status Points for showing up, playing, scoring, covering a sub spot, and more, with a full point history behind every tier. Clubs get a Retention Insights page that shows who is drifting before they are gone.

Paper-to-Screen Scoring + Operations Control Tower
Exact-Sheet QR Scoring
Printed scoresheets now connect back to the exact Ladder round, Round Robin court, Pod court, Mini-Tournament stage, MLP or Trios match, or Open Play round and court. The QR is a locator, never an authorization token.
Open Play Format Parity
All eight Open Play templates now print QR-connected score blocks, including grouped Ladder games, MLP matchups and Dreambreakers, and blank future sheets for dynamic KOTC, Up/Down River, and Ladder rounds.
Handwritten Photo Review · Beta
Staff can photograph a completed sheet, review every proposed row, correct or exclude uncertain scores, and confirm the batch atomically. A live-score change stops stale confirmation instead of overwriting newer work.
Club Operations
Registration, waitlists, Stripe checkout, pay-at-the-door collection, substitute workflows, Club Texting, Retention Insights, and the Autopilot operations control tower are now represented accurately across the product. Autopilot remains a Private Beta and Retention Insights is generally available.

Official DUPR Partner Integration
DUPR Single Sign-On
Players connect their DUPR account with DUPR's own sign-in, and that connection is what links them to their club rosters. Club Directors link their DUPR club the same way. No DUPR passwords are stored in PicklPass, ever.
Real-Time Ratings
As an official DUPR partner, PicklPass receives rating updates the moment DUPR publishes them, so standings, screening, and player profiles reflect the current number without a nightly sync.
DUPR+ Premium
Players with DUPR+ see their premium rating detail inside PicklPass, with a toggle to show or hide it.

Sessions could render a front-desk QR code. Players scanned it and self-linked their profile in seconds, with no manual roster entry.

Drop-in and Open Play check-in moved from a clipboard to a phone tap, with profile claiming baked in for new players.
